I am always thoroughly amused by the concept Eric came up with for this particular strip… though the event itself, were it to actually befall a dog you know, would be quite tragic. And rare. But really, if we can’t laugh at pain and suffering, what else is left? Aside from, I guess, happiness. And… contentment? Those sure aren’t funny!
