I think this strip came about because I wanted to use the ‘rope’ brush preset from Illustrator again. Perhaps that is a poor reason, but it did yield a tasty slice of absurdism. Oh, I think I also liked the concept of showing Reginald advancing vertically through the top four panels. So there you have it - insight into the dark complexities of the mind of a cartoonist.
